Take a Virtual Tour of Trevor’s Classroom
Trevor has one foot firmly planted in his own classroom. Although he visits schools around the globe, he remains, in all settings, a teacher first. His writing is founded on the constructivist theory yet communicated in a manner that is relatable, like a colleague just down the hall in your own school. His writing makes inquiry and assessment concepts, frameworks, and protocols attainable, achievable, and implementational.
The below resource is one way in which Trevor continues to open his practice to the world. Inspired by colleague Becky Carlzon, this 3D image allows you to tour his classroom. Simply turn through the space and examine design, evidence, documentation, and inquiry at work. Take notice of the blue “hot dots” which act as bookmarks for resources such as video, image, and text, all of which further explain some of you observe throughout the virtual tour.
No classroom is complete. No classroom has all of the answers. No classroom is done “right”. This virtual tour is meant to illuminate particluar areas of the inquiry practice and act as a provocation of sorts, a call to notice and wonder and reflect. Enjoy!
